Make A Difference Day Creek & Waterway Cleanup

Plano creeks and waterways (you choose a location or you will be assigned one).

Litter flows into our creeks posing a danger to wildlife and polluting our drinking water. Make a Difference Day is your chance to volunteer and impact our community in a positive way. All litter prevention and cleanup efforts will be directed toward cleaning creeks and waterways throughout Plano.

It’s easy to get involved!
-Identify a group of friends, family or an organization to participate. No group is too big or small!
-Identify a creek in Plano you’d like to clean or one will be assigned to you.
-Register online at livegreeninplano.com. Pre-registration is required.

Texas Recycles Day Recycling Round-up
Saturday, November 12 - 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Clark High School - 523 West Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, TX 75023

Round up the treasures hidden in your garage, closets and attic and bring them to our one day drop-off collection event.

Bicycles- bicycles in all conditions
Books
Cell Phones
Clothing- men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, belts, purses
Document Shredding- TWO BOX limit per household (13”x16”x26”)
Eye Glasses- prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses, reading glasses, frames and accessories
Pet Products- collars, leashes, toys, nail clippers, pet bowls, brushes, combs, small rugs, towels, blankets, animal shampoo, laundry detergent, dish detergent, spray bottles, IAMS canned and dry food (unopened), Tidy Cat non-clumping litter, flea products, dog and cat treats
Shoes- adult athletic shoes and children’s shoes (any style) in good condition
